There are big moments you want to remember forever. The first date, the special trip, the wedding. We collect things to remember them, mementos. The matchbox, the invitation, the cocktail napkin, the concert ticket. The small, deliberate things you picked up on purpose because you wanted to take a piece of the moment with you. 

And then they sit. In a box or a drawer, not something you'd throw away, but you're not sure what to do with them either.

For years, I had been holding on to things that meant something, wanting to make something of them. Sending them off to a framing company or bringing it to a local frame shop felt overwhelming and never matched the vision I had. I wanted an easy way to do it myself, without it actually feeling or looking DIY.

Minde and Matter was born from the idea of taking your memories, Minde, and creating something tangible with them, Matter. It is what turns a memento into a piece of art, one with meaning and style.
